Kristen Humber

CCC Program Director

As I enter my fourth year as Program Director at The Children’s Center for Communication, I reflect on the growth of the students, the staff, and myself. I continue to feel honored to be a part of this amazing organization, whose mission and vision reflect my own.  I appreciate the depth of the challenges our students and their families face and want to support them to the best of my ability.  I will continue to cultivate a culture of open and direct communication and develop trusting relationships with students, families and the communities we serve.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree at Salem State University and returned there for my Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services. I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and am always available to provide social/emotional support to our students. I recently received an Educational Specialist Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Gordon College. Prior to leading the CCC program,  I was the Educational Supervisor and a Clinician at Dearborn Academy in Arlington, working with students who present with moderate social, emotional, behavioral and learning challenges. I spend my time away from CCCBSD with my 11-year-old son CJ,  my husband Chris and my extended family and friends. We are big Patriots fans!  I also enjoy running, cycling classes, yoga, cooking, and reading.

Here I am with CCC Education Director, Rachel Barstow showing our Patriots pride.
