I began working at CCCBSD in 2004, when the school operated as one program; Beverly School for the Deaf. My initial position was working as the Assistant Program Director where my role supported classrooms, faculty, student behavioral supports, state licensing, and even the adapted physical education program. As the school grew, my role became more streamlined to focus primarily on classrooms and state licensing. The program continued to grow to the point where I played a pivotal role in the creation of the Children’s Center for Communication program, at which time I was privileged to be a part of an administrative team who over saw both programs; CCC and BSD. In 2013, I transitioned into the position of Chief Operating Officer, where my primary responsibility became oversight of compliance at the state, local, and community level.
My background includes an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management. Prior to working at CCCBSD, I have worked in clinical care, public schools, special needs service agencies, and home care.
