The Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf provides enrichment programming during the after school hours known as Rec Club.

Rec Club offers pragmatic learning opportunities and developmentally appropriate enrichment for all children ages 3 to 14 in a safe, nurturing, and fully accessible setting. Programming is provided to all children, regardless of disability.

Language, communication, and socialization goals are addressed in a recreational environment. Activities are presented in the student’s primary mode of communication and programming is designed to meet the individual needs of students. Programming is held in the familiar CCCBSD setting and staffed by CCCBSD faculty.

The program is offered 1 day per week for two, 16-week sessions from October – May.
