March 2, 2019 (Friday, March 1st at CCCBSD) is a national celebration honoring Dr. Seuss and encouraging children to get involved in literacy. Students participate in activities in the library, gym, art room, and music room. There will also be a special reading from The Cat in the Hat!
The Boston Philharmonic is returning again this year to present Instrument Playground & Music Eyes on Thursday, March 7th. Students will have the opportunity to see, hear, and touch instruments that are played by BPO musicians. Students will also be able to experience various musical compositions through a visual/auditory presentation and the use of the vibrating floor, vibrating pillows, and speakers.
