Director of Related Services
As Director of Related Services, my scope of responsibilities includes supervision, mentorship/leadership, strategic planning, coordination of school-wide systems, and development of emerging programmatic opportunities. I provide direct supervision to all related service providers including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Communication, Nursing, Interpreting, Curriculum and Instruction, Assistive Technology, Art, Music, and Adapted Physical Education.
I have an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders, a Master’s Degree in Special Education, and an Education Specialist Degree in Special Education Administration. I worked as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a rehabilitation hospital for 3 years prior to starting at CCCBSD. While at the school, I have held roles as a SLPA and teacher in transition-aged, elementary, and middle school classrooms. In 2013 I became the CCC Assistant Program Director and in 2019 the CCC Education Director. I transitioned into the CPO role in 2023.
Outside of CCCBSD, my time is spent with my husband and 2 children. I enjoy time with family and friends, baking, music, reading, skiing, and camping.
