“While we have no history of hearing loss in our family, we have two daughters with hearing loss. Getting a hearing loss can be overwhelming because there is so much information offered that it can be tough to know where to start. Being introduced to the PIP at CCCBSD and specifically working with Cindy was incredible. It gave us direction and a plan. We were introduced to many resources and a whole community of support. Our 4 year old is now such a strong communicator and our 1 year old is meeting and exceeding current expectations for her age. Cindy’s visits and support have been crucial in helping our children sign and bridging the gap between ASL and spoken language. The girls really enjoy their visits with Cindy and we are very thankful to her and the PIP!”
