Adaptive Sports at CCCBSD
The Adaptive Sports Program at CCCBSD gives children with disabilities and their families a chance to play sports, socialize, be active, and have fun! CCCBSD is home to the first all-accessible baseball field on the North Shore. Winter programs are offered inside the CCCBSD gymnasium.
Thank you to the Cummings Foundation and the van Otterloo Family Foundation for the generous grants that made our adaptive field a reality. The support enabled CCCBSD to construct the rubberized, adaptive baseball field, which will help eliminate barriers for children who use wheelchairs, are visually impaired or have other challenges.
